There are so many things we should be thankful for, much more than can be put into a single blog post. We are thankful for our family, friends, and health most of all.

We’re also thankful for our customers. We couldn’t do this without you after all! No really, we couldn’t. Jewelry By Thea has had it’s best year ever and we continue to be amazed at the support we get.

We’re also thankful for the communities and individuals that have lent their expertise and time to helping us help ourselves. We’ve received some great input, recommendations, and valuable insights from many people across the web.

Ready. Set. Go! Christmas Shopping Under Way

Looks like Christmas shopping season has finally started. Supposedly we website owners aren’t supposed to talk about traffic, so I’ll just skirt around it. Our site has seen a nice bump since black friday. Seems that even us small site owners get a trickle of that jewelry shopping traffic.

For anyone that doesn’t know, we do several art shows every year in and around Oklahoma and the surrounding states. In 2010, I’ll start providing a list of our destinations so you can come see our creations in person.

This past year we had an excellent show at Arts Festival Oklahoma http://www.occc.edu/AFO/index.html. This was our fourth straight year there and we had an excellent time. As usual the other artists really make going to the show fun and interesting. Our booth was next to some photographers and a painter, but I can’t find their websites :( . One painter I really liked was Jo Edwards. Websites rarely do these kinds of works justice.

Another Redesign?

I know. We’re ridiculous. Sheesh.

We didn’t get very good feedback on our last version. It definitely had its shortcomings.

So, anyway, welcome to the new site. Once again, a lot of hard work went into it. Have to admit, it is a big change from our previous designs and it may take some people some time to get used to. Even though change can be tough, it is usually for the best.

Can’t sit still ya know.

Gotta keep moving forward.
